Dirigo - 7th International Student Film Festival - Schools Edition
PREMIERED HERE AT 11AM Friday 29th January 11AM
Aimed mainly at secondary schools, this edition also features Introduction from Ben Anderson (WIN Together Coordinator for the North Somerset area) and April Gilbert (HE Adviser for Weston College, Hans Price Academy and Broadoak Academy in Weston-super-Mare).

Dirigo is an International Student Film Festival directed and produced by FdA Film & Media Arts Production students from University Centre Weston. This festival aims to inspire and showcase the creativity of student filmmakers worldwide. It is an open festival with no set boundaries; we actively encourage new styles, voices and direction.

This year our event will be held online, the Film Festival Programme will be streamed Live on FilmUCW Youtube channel (7pm - 9pm) followed by an awards ceremony, Q&A with festival directors and filmmakers on Zoom (from 9pm).

This year we are also hosting a Young Filmmakers version of the festival aimed at secondary schools, this will be on Friday 29th January 2021.
