For Film Production Skills (FdA Film & Media Arts Production Yr1 module) your Film Production Skills Journal should show an understanding for the following learning outcomes 

1. Demonstrate and apply a working knowledge of pre-production requirements in Film and Media Production.  

2. Demonstrate and apply an understanding of production requirements for Film and Media Production including managing a project, understanding key roles and duties, working in a team, directing, working to deadlines, managing time.  

3. Demonstrate and apply an understanding of the cinematography skills required to produce quality imagery for film.  (i.e. see Camera Techniques sections)

4. Demonstrate and apply an understanding of sound recording techniques and sound design with the aim of producing high quality sound for film. 

5. Demonstrate and apply an understanding of video editing techniques and post production for Film and Media Production.
